Participate at a School Board Meeting

School Board meetings are a critical platform to share our concerns and call the School Board to action on PAUSE’s key initiatives. Board members pay attention to who shows up. A full room sends a message before anyone says a word. You don't have to speak — your presence counts. If you do want to speak, public comment is open to everyone and takes just 3 minutes.

How School Board meetings work:

Meetings will begin promptly at 4:30pm. They board will call attendance and begin to talk through their set agenda for the meeting.

There is a sign-up sheet for Public Comment. If you would like to provide public comment, you must sign up on the sheet. Public Comment is typically held as one of the last agenda items. Each person providing public comment is given 3 minutes to speak. There is no dialog from the board after your comment, but your comments can be incredibly impactful to decision making.
