Teachers want to teach. Many share the same concerns you do — but they need district policy to back them up before they can make different choices in the classroom. The most powerful thing a parent can do is let their child's teacher know they are supported in choosing hands-on, teacher-led instruction over screen-based programs. A simple note goes a long way.
